    Yeah but I think we all agree there is a specific difference between a clip and a magazine and if you were to walk in the store with the intent to buy a magazine and you asked for a clip, you'd for sure get the wrong thing.

      Yep the top one with the chrome finish is the oldest. 1871 is the born on date. I got the letters from Colt on both of those two chrome guns by sending in the serial number and paying a fee to get their history. Pretty cool.

          You wouldn't get the wrong thing. You'd say "where are the clips for my Glock" and they'd laugh and point you in the direction of a magazine. I don't even know of a gunshop that carries clips.
