Still zero evidence that Assad is responsible for the chemical attacks.

US, UK, and French militarys struck a few buildings in Syria last night which will have no effect.

    Trump just tweeted, "Mission Accomplished".

Am I the only fucking one here who can smell the bullshit? Holy fuck.

And in terms of a "strong response".. lol. Assad was pictured laughing happily walking on his way to work today. This was a response for the media. In reality this has had zero effect on Assad and IMO makes us look weak. They were able to shoot down at least 20 of our missiles with Russian 1970's technology...

Anyone that cheers this as some "america fuck yea" victory is a moron.

That fact that nobody is demanding the evidence that Assad was responsible which was used as justification for this attack blows my mind.

The missles struck chemical weapon factories. That’s it, nothing more nothing less. If Assad isn’t using chemical weapons, then why is he manufacturing then? You are falling for Russian disinformation. That pic of Assad wasn’t from this morning. That is propaganda. Also, watch Nikki Haley’s UN speech. It sums up what’s going on there, what just happened, and why it happened. She even talked about the Russian disinformation trolls ramping up.

This was not an “American Fuck yeah” moment, it was an international UN response by nations against the use of chemical weapons. We aren’t stealing their oil, we aren’t trying to take over the Middle East, we aren’t even trying to kill Assad or remove him from power. We are simply saying stop using and manufacturing chemical weapons. Stop the conspiracy theory nonsense.

Alleged chemical weapons factories. Zero proof.

If we knew about them all this time why didn't we act or at least call them out on it?

I think you are all too willing to buy whatever the 24 hour news networks throw at you.

Show me proof these attacks were done by Assad. Show me proof these buildings were chemical weapons factories. We are just supposed to believe because our government says so?

It’s safe to believe the opposite of what we the Russian disinformation machine is pushing. So if they say no chemical weapons, then there are chemical weapons.

Bouncer, read this thread from the department of state:

Your argument is just "believe the opposite of what Russia says". Really?

I don't think it's too much to ask for actual proof based on recent US history like WMD claims etc..

Believing EVERYTHING your govt tells you is not different from believing NOTHING your govt tells you. Gotta look at the data and decide on each issue. This one is a no brainer for me that Assad is manufacturing and using chemical weapons on his own people.

Did you read that thread? There is enough proof there. France also has proof. Nobody was harmed just chemical factories were wiped out, that’s it. You’re being a crazy person.

Also I feel that since you are in this state of mind that this is a conspiracy, no matter the amount of proof offered what is the point? You will not believe it anyway.

Also, let's say this is a false flag and there are no chemical weapons, why did they bomb some factories and then stop? What was the goal here of the false flag? No military forces were attacked, Assad was not attacked. Russia was not attacked. What is the reason for the false flag. Oil? Convince me, sell me. I'll be open minded here.

This probably won't be good enough for you, but France released their "Proof". Here it is.

It's also kinda sad that we are at a point in our "distracted" society that I feel like I have to take screenshots of paragraphs in articles/documents because you guys won't actually click on the link and read the article at any deep level. It's all surface level, headlines only and maybe skip down and read the comments on the article.

Your screen shot shows proof of a chemical attack. Nobody is disputing that you stupid shit. Where is the proof that it was ordered by Assad?

I don't need to sell you on anything. You still haven't given a rational explanation on why Assad would do this. Why would he go out of his way to bring upon international condemnation when he was at the finishing line? Your rationale is "he's crazy" which is garbage rationale.

The only thing that truly makes sense in all this is the people that want to change the tide of the war (rebel groups) are the ones who did this. Nobody else has valid reason. Not Russia, not Syrian gov, not USA.

The rebel groups were clever enough to know that Trump, people like yourself, and the mainstream media would bite.. lol

Read Carefully, I took a lot of my time here to lay this out for you.

Here are the reasons why Assad would do/did this:

                          1. He's at war. Sure he's winning it appears but it's far from over and if he doesn't stay aggressive the rebels will continue to grow and evolve. He must stay aggressive, he must continue to squash them. If he's already won as you say then why does he even need Russia's help to squash these rebels? It's because it's far from over and everyone knows the rules of war, you've got to stay aggressive and strategic until your enemy is decimated.

                          2. If he sends his men/forces into rebel territory he will lose some men. There is a cost. It's not cheap to feed them, arm them, and send them on combat missions. He needs these men for later when he starts rebuilding/defending his country once he takes it back completely from the rebels and he needs their support and trust.

                          3. He could bomb the rebel bases and wipe them out, but they are in cities. This is his country, he doesn't want to wipe out the infrastructure and history of the cities. He needs this infrastructure, he's got big plans for Syria, he needs these cities along with everything in them (except for the people). This is messy. He'd also destroy all the rebel's weapons in the process of bombing them. He wants to confiscate and re-use these weapons for the future of Syria. Why destroy all this when a simple chemical attack will solve this problem and rid the city of only one thing: The people who are against him.

                          4. This brings us to number 4. The cleanest way to decimate his enemy without risking the lives of his men, without destroying the infrastructure and history of his own country, and by preserving the weapons of his enemy. Chemical weapons. Drop chlorine gas on them, they all die, they eventually surrender because they CANNOT fight against chemical weapons. They are rendered helpless. The rebel's weapons are MEANINGLESS against Chlorine gas. His infrastructure stays in tact, he loses no men, the financial cost is almost zero, and he can waltz in and confiscate his dead enemy's weapons and then he can start new in that city with people who support him. There is no need to rebuild the city! It's all in tact this way. He can loot and rob the riches and money there. It's a clean way to destroy your enemy and then take your country back.

With Russia's disinformation campaign and protection he probably thought he could do this either without being caught or without any consequences and completely win this war. Trump had just pulled out all of our troops and he's on record on twitter saying many times HE WOULD NOT STRIKE SYRIA. "AMERICA FIRST". Assad had no fear, Trump had showed weakness and said on record that he'd never strike Syria under any circumstance and there are dozens of Tweets from Trump saying that Obama was a damn fool for doing this, even the last time Chemical weapons were allegedly used! This is why Assad grew the balls to do this! Come on man it's clear as day.

Now you're just falling for Russian disinformation and making yourself look really really dumb and ignorant in this argument. Everyone on this board should simply "like" my reply here because I'm dead on and you are way way way off base with your critical thinking. We are losing you, Bouncer.

Complete and utter garbage argument coming from the perspective of someone who fully believes the narrative and desperately trying to explain things away that make zero sense. You would have bought the WMD line to invade Iraq hook line and sinker.

Wow. You really are just repeating talking points. There is no depth here to your reply. Debate my points above 1-4 with some depth. Let's hear your analysis of why they aren't true. Come on, show us your intelligence otherwise you're just a conspiracy theory troll parrot who repeats talking points.
