Got caught in some pretty bad rain. Gotta tell you though, that WET mode is a life saver for situations like these.

Running pirelli SC race tires; my balls were up to my throat when it hit. I've rode in some wet roads, but not rain.

My jacket I use and gloves will do the save all day. But let me tell you since I have fallen, at ONLY 45mph...it is not nice all the way around.

I would wear that when I'd take my 4hr rides, not anything within like an hours ride.

I used to think the same thing til you learn that suit is the only thing protecting you in a crash. There is no cage around you and no cushy airbags. Blacktop and steel will fuck you up to the bone without leather and padding.
