Had to use google translated it because it's in german.

It's an announcement from the City I live in..

      Current information

The city of Mannheim has made far-reaching decisions in view of the significant expansion of measures to slow the spread of the corona infection that was initiated yesterday at the federal and today at the state level. In particular, the city of Mannheim decided today, March 13, 2020, to close part of its public facilities.

Mayor Dr. Peter Kurz asks for understanding of the closings and restrictions: “The drastic reduction in social contacts, which the specialist departments and medical experts see as necessary, can only be achieved through far-reaching measures. The extensive cessation of public life for the next four weeks is necessary to save time and relieve the public health system. "

“Above all, closing the daycare centers and schools will be a major challenge for many parents, but also for companies. Here I rely on the understanding of the employer and on the fact that joint solutions such as working in the home office can be found. ”

The city of Mannheim emphasizes that the decisions were not made because the risk potential had increased. With the 28 confirmed corona infections in our city, the route of infection can be traced almost continuously, the course of the disease has so far been mild. Only one infected person was in hospital treatment!

General services and assistance for individual citizens are maintained. The employees of the city administration will do everything to ensure the central tasks of the public service.

Public transport will be maintained, in particular to ensure rush-hour traffic. 1. The City of Mannheim has issued the following general decree:

No events with more than 50 participants
There are new requirements for the organization of events and meetings: Until further notice, these must not exceed 50 people. This applies to both public and private events, both outdoors and indoors. Events with fewer than 50 participants must be reported to the local police department of the city of Mannheim in advance.

In addition, the operation of all types of catering facilities is prohibited - except for restaurants and establishments in which predominantly food is handed in or delivered for consumption on the spot or to take away.

Cinemas, clubs and discos, saunas, arcades, indoor playgrounds and prostitution facilities also remain closed.

Outdoor activities in which there is no close physical contact are considered to be fundamentally unproblematic.

The general ruling applies from Sunday, March 15, 2020 and is also available on the city's homepage:

Picked this shit up today as well.

Zinc, magnesium, vitamin C and some other shit. Just trying to boost my immune system as much as possible. Probably won't do much but it can't hurt.
