some of you know my ALT values were pretty high a few weeks ago - the shit has not died down - I got a complete bloodwork panel done on the specifics and the only thing at all off from being right where it should was my iron was slightly low. I have to go in tomorrow for ultrasound of my entire abdomen - the whole 8 hours no food prior etc, I'm just curious if you guys have ever had this done and if so are the results like an ekg once it's done it's done and they can show/tell you what's up if anything right there?

had it done a few times now bro -- they can tell you if all is ok right there !! i have a fatty liver so my enzymes are high as it is -- now if they do find a problem 9 times out of 10 unless its the doc himself doing it the tech will not say anything !! will leave that up to your doc -Originally posted by the art of war View Postsome of you know my ALT values were pretty high a few weeks ago - the shit has not died down - I got a complete bloodwork panel done on the specifics and the only thing at all off from being right where it should was my iron was slightly low. I'm good on the serious stuff bro - my ALT since I kicked the rec drugs and shit have literally read like this: 48, 129, 240, 117 - and the last one spiked again - haven't gotten the letter yet. My ultrasound showed minor fat deposit also, but my doc doesn't think that's what's causing it - I'm seeing a GI specialist to be safe, fucking anytime my ALT values spike above I'd guess 150 it fucking kills man. I got the okay to lift again, fuckin was losing it not being able to do that - no swelling no growths or anything - I still think it might have something to do w/the long term sides of my body just fixing itself out. I've eaten super clean for a good time now, I was at the point where I was looking at type 2 diabeties and now my shit is point on cept for the damn liver lol.Originally posted by bigscott View Posthad it done a few times now bro -- they can tell you if all is ok right there !! i have a fatty liver so my enzymes are high as it is -- now if they do find a problem 9 times out of 10 unless its the doc himself doing it the tech will not say anything !! will leave that up to your doc -

I swear tho - they get this liver fixed I'm going out w/a bottle of drol tylenol and washing it down with moonshine - teach that lil bitch a lesson :P :D .Originally posted by bigscott View Postyes but your back on track brother -- keep looking forward

I had several ulta sounds on my heart and the doctor would read them, then give me the results on the spot. In my case however the ultra sound was done at the same place as the doctor has his office. CCK levels are more important than ALT levels, a hard workout will shoot up ALT levels.Originally posted by the art of war View Postsome of you know my ALT values were pretty high a few weeks ago - the shit has not died down - I got a complete bloodwork panel done on the specifics and the only thing at all off from being right where it should was my iron was slightly low. I can tell you this much - I'll vouch for the ALT levels spiking after workouts - I just got back from AM chest and it feels like tyson went to town on my right side haha - give it 30 minutes and the shit dies down - weird. I have a few theories about it but I'm just trying to ignore it and just eat clean drink my water and keep going with life, nothing I can do about it now but :weights:Originally posted by liftsiron View PostI had several ulta sounds on my heart and the doctor would read them, then give me the results on the spot. so when do you get a clear answer on what the deal is with the liver and what you need too do when you fix it?Originally posted by the art of war View PostI can tell you this much - I'll vouch for the ALT levels spiking after workouts - I just got back from AM chest and it feels like tyson went to town on my right side haha - give it 30 minutes and the shit dies down - weird. ultra sound checked out(had whole abdomen done) - small fatty deposit like BS said - but the fact the ALT values are fluctuating like a bitch and for the last 3 years (the clinic I was at did bloodworks every 6 months) have been fine, they really do not know. My blood panel was done twice specifically for the liver - the only thing elevated was my ALT values - I'm going to see a GI specialist - got the ref last friday from my doc - will see where it goes from there. Right now it's just a pain, literally lol.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postso when do you get a clear answer on what the deal is with the liver and what you need too do when you fix it?

i think you should take it easy on the lifting. go in and train for the pump but dont push it. anything that is giving you physical pain is really your bodys warning sign.Originally posted by the art of war View Postultra sound checked out(had whole abdomen done) - small fatty deposit like BS said - but the fact the ALT values are fluctuating like a bitch and for the last 3 years (the clinic I was at did bloodworks every 6 months) have been fine, they really do not know. I'm not taking any meds bro - haven't been for a bit. I drink about 1-1.5 gallons a day - I take milk thistle 3x a day.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Posti think you should take it easy on the lifting. go in and train for the pump but dont push it. anything that is giving you physical pain is really your bodys warning sign.

I'm dieting down - training for the pump is all I really do now anyway lol, I had to cut out deads / squats / pullovers - but aside from that I'm 10-12 rep range and just squeezing it out bro - I'd over train way to easily right now - trying to respect my body in that regard.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Posti think you should take it easy on the lifting. go in and train for the pump but dont push it. anything that is giving you physical pain is really your bodys warning sign.
