You look damn good for just starting to lift again.

I would like to add though. Please don't bulk anymore. You have a good amount of BF to make great gains, but anymore and you could be looking at health issues or it just won't be adding to your recovery ability, which is why you would bulk in the first place. It's not about hitting a goal weight.

Shortz school me quick then for my first cycle that I am about to start in a week. What should my cal. intake be to gain lean muscle.

500mg of Testosterone Enan (divide into two shots a week) a week for 10 weeks
50mg of Testosterone Propionate EOD for the first two weeks.
10mg of nolvadex ED for weeks 1 to 11

This is the cycle I am planning on running but I was also going to run around 4K cals during the whole cycle. That is 1k above my maintence cals.

Steroids increase the amount of protien your body is able to normally use. It helps to rebuild muscle faster. In order to make the gains, not only are you looking for cals, but more importantly, the amount fo protien you are taking in. I once heard a pro (can't remember who) say just drink a shake at every meal and shoot for 500g of protien. No matter what your calorie intake will be, that will make you grow. Although I think cals still play a role, I do believe there was alot of truth in that statement.

Instead of increasing cals so much, just increase your protien intake. What are you taking in now? I would bump it up by 100g of protien per day and I am will to bet that that alone will make you grow. This increase is protien will be an additional 400 cals already to your diet anyway, not quite 1k, but still enough.

With 500mg of test, you should make some nice gains, but with a very high cal intake, you may gain some fat. If you were hitting 1g of test instead, I could see you wanting a huge amount of cals, but this is not the case.

Of course, there may be a few who argue with me, but if your cals are holding your BF where you are, then an additional 400 cals from 100g of protien will be enough to hold you there and make good strength and muscle gains.

I am currently at about 225 to 300 grams pf protein a day I was planning on increasing that to 350 to 400 during cycle. I will definately take your advice. For 3 months my diet has maintained my BF around 17% (dropped 17%) so to lean out a little more and get a harder look not increasing my cals beyond my protein increase sounds smart to me.

I have to start planning meals now to adjust for the calorie reduction. Not to hard to do.

HA! That looks almost exactly like my freezer contents. I have some junk in mine too though. I have a couple plain cheeze pizzas and little lasagnas just in case I have a day that my appetite sucks and I need cals. It is only for emergencies though and mainly on days that I lift.

BTW, for a good recipe for those chicken tenders, put some melted margerine on them and then dump a bunch of parm. cheese and bake. Once done, put some spagetti sause on them. It's one of the only ways i can eat chicken anymore because the first couple years all I ate was chicken and get sick eating them now.

I don't make anything with Turkey. I know I should, but never really cared to.

I know red meat is best when building muscle but I like to change it up. Turkey tastes great, it's cheap and with yams I can have Thanksgiving dinner all year around.

Tried that chicken recipe last night it was good, but I was also starving. I have the left overs for lunch today. I will see what they taste like when car tires don't look appetizing.

The secret is to pull them out of the oven before they dry out. It took me a few times before I got the timing right.

When reheating, the tomato sauce really helped it from being dry too.

Dude. don't bulk. For someone that has not worked out in 6 years, you are naturally thick.

You will look and feel 1000% better if you lean out, see exactly what is under there and then reacess.
