Back in March, I was being treated for high blood pressure and obviously very overweight. I was visiting my parents. While visiting my father told me his kidney's were failing and he had Diabetes. Mortality hit me hard.Originally posted by Slashmonay
that is amazing bro. i would never think it was possible for a 310 lb 30%^ bodyfat person to be competing in 8 months. how did u lose so much fat and gain so much muscle in a short time???? amazing.
At that moment, I said enough was enough. I want to see my daughter grow up.
I began by cutting out all the crap out of my diet. I spent the first 4-5 weeks walking the treadmill at the gym. I did this 3-4 times a week. I pushed myself very hard. The weight just fell off. I incorporated weight training in April. June I hired a personal trainer, who put me on a 6 day a week regimen. One body part per day. I told my P.T. to push me. I had the attitude, that I can do anything and no matter how hard I was going to do it!
All this time, I have followed my routine religously. Genetics obviously have a major part in what I have been able to do.
When I am doing 1215 pound leg press for reps of 10, the people at the gym are dumbfounded to find out that I have only been doing leg press for 5 months. There are alot of ways we are all similar and there are a few ways that I am different from most.
To say that I am blown away by what I have done and am doing is an understatement! Everyone who knows me can't beleive it.
To be honest with you, a couple of months ago I flirted with the idea of trying Andro, but after researching it, I realized, I would be a complete moron to try it. I tried a muscle volumizer, which I recently found out by Yellowjacket was a dumb thing to do.
That's pretty much it in a nutshell. One more thing I am taking a fat burner called Ventilean. I have been taking it for 5 weeks. I have felt no adverse effects. Actually I have felt great!!Last edited by mrmuscle43a; 12-11-04, 01:31 PM.

Thank you all!!!! I am now stepping out of my comfort zone. I have decided to compete in the 2005 Pacific USA Naturals in Culver City, California. I have decent muscle mass, so I figure, why not start learning and gain some experience. Mid February I'll begin dieting down. Time to kick it up a notch!!
