alright, i see what you're saying. i thought you meant that if i were to lift instead of say run i'd burn more fat. i understand it's possible in the long run but it's better if they both go hand in hand. (with diet)

yes people say cardio in the am but if you can't don't sweat it. resistance training is working with weights.

Can you explain to me a little more about resistance training? Does this just mean weights :D
Sort of. This is where it gets hard. How carb depleated are you actually? How full is your glycogen storage. Now you got to make sure your muscle don't become catabolic. Your muscle are made of protiens which is much easier for your body to break down than fat and use as energy.

Resistance Training is just some sort of weight exercise. Anaroebic exercise.

Exactly. I don't rember the numbers because it's been a while since I read up on it. But it something like it takes 8 hours of straight cardio to burn one lb. of fat. Cory may have it a little fresher in his mind. He been working on his ACE cert. Try pm'ing him if you want.

There is a usenet group called uk.rec.bodybuilding. Why don't you post a message there? I am sure you will get tips on the local sources of protein. It may be more cost effective than having stuff flown over across the pond....

Yeah, but I just need to know the stuff won't make me puke my guts out, and muscle milk was recommended to me by a couple of guys for its great taste :)
