after reading many threads and articles on losing the gut and getting a six pack, everyone says to mainly focus on ur diet. well, doesnt that only work for the fat on top of the muscle, and not the visceral fat? im wundering becuz ive been lifting for only a year (started last summer) and after reading this site and others, i gained 30 lbs from 135-165. my waist inc. from 29 to 32 but i still have a six pack, albiet a little less defined. i figure that i gained visceral fat in my stomach, and was wondering how i would go about cutting it out. would it be based more on exercise or diet (i know its a combination of the two but which is mroe important)?
