  • Drinking Orange Juice while on diet

    Ok this is the question i got. Right now im on cycle and eating lean while on it. I started doing cardio today 7/12/04. The QUESTION I wanted to know is that everyday i drink fiber. Its a fiber powder u could add to any drink. I chose either water or orange juice. I rather use orange juice because it works better. The reason i use this is because i have trouble going to the restroom (no joking).

    I wanted to know since im eating lean and doing cardio, would it be bad on the diet. I usually take it everyday at 8:30pm. The reason for this is because when i wake up in the morning and eat, im all done. Orange juice does contain carbs in it and all. Just wanted to know if it can affect my results.;)

    yes it can. orange juice is full of sugar - and it's a no-no if you're trying to lean down. especially so late at night. stick with the water.

      im taking it at 8:30 pm, and only 8 ounces of it, and i usually go to bed at 12am ed on weekdays. Is that bad too, im doing cardio right after that also.

      Cause thats the only way i drink my fiber with orange juice, better absorbs and with water its thick and tastes nasty.

        Well bro, you left out like every detail you could. lol. If you are on a low carb diet then yes drinking OJ later at night is not that good. Instead of drinking some shitty fiber drink, why not eat more fiber threw the day? Oatmeal, green vegies are high in fiber.

          ive tried basically everything bro. Its been a problem ive ben having since i was in middle school back in 94. The only way to help me out was that vegi-powder fiber im buying. I also tried pruns, nothing. Im gonna give it a shot again with water and see how it goes even though it tastes bad. But that fiber works dude, i recommend it to anyone with problems.:agree: U take it around 8-9pm and in the morning first thing, boom there it goes. U dont have to worry about anything.

            haha, well dont fix what aint broken. keep drinking the fiber stuff. but you should try drink it with something that dosent have sugar.

              dammit sugar sux, i wish we could all eat sugar and still get lean:). I'll take it with water on friday and see how it goes. Also all weekend.

                Cant you take it with Crystal Light or something that has no sugar. If it taste bad with water then Crystal Light will make it taste much better.

                  get the low sugar /carb orange juice tropicana makes... Use 4oz of the 8oz serving size so it halfs that. Will still give some nice taste use the other half water. Even when i wasnt on my diet i always watered down oj. Its too sweet for me. Hope this helps
