  • Damn pizza..question...

    So I start back faithfully to the gym and eating on Monday, after a three week break (whatever) and so last night at about 8pm..after eating well all day+gym...my and the boy down about a bottle of wine each and share dominoes (4 pcs of a medium) and cinnastix. FUCK.

    My question is...how does this affect me, really? Like does it affect my body as much as I think it does? This isnt something I do all the time BTW. So how much damage has been done?

    Im off to the gym right now...:confused:

    I would imagine that unless you are on a really strict pre-contest phase, having a pizza once in a while would be really not a problem (as long as you are not eatling pizza every day!).

    I think more importantly, one needs to take it easy every now and then and not let working out and eating strictly take all the fun out of life. I think fitness and diet and things like that should enhance one's quality and appreciation of life, not detract from it. So, I would worry about it and get guilty too much.

    Just my personal opinion.....

      A cheat day once a week is good for the body, keeps the body guessing and keeps the metabolism up. The real question here is this. Why in the hell were 2 guys sharing a bottle of wine? :gay:

            if u eat good forawhile ur bound to cheat. You can cheat once a week some people can go once every few weeks. Dominoes is the best choice for pizza. Has less cals and fast then you think also has the lowest carbs out of most of the traditional resturant pizzas pizza hut etc. Only about 150 cals a slice. If you eat just 4 it shouldnt kill you. I actually lost more weight by cheating more often but not with the worst stuff. Just consuming more carbs and cals to trick the metabolism. Anyways one day will not add a pound or anything. But it does put ur whole day of doing good to shame.

                    A pizza or whatever every now and then is not so bad. Just remeber you need good nutrition to grow.

                      LMAO...Thank god your a girl...Until I got down to other posts I was asking myself the same question as Bouncer. Yeah, I agree with the others...One day a week I eat lunch and dinner at 2 of my favorite take-out places. Sometimes it's pizza or Burger King or whatever. Really helps to keep me sane.
