  • Lack of appetite

    I have, for the past two weeks been really upping my calories and eating like a horse. However, for some reason the past couple of days I have not been hungry at all. For instance today I had my rotuine breakfast, oatmeal and a protein shake beofre work. By first break I am usually starving but today the thought of eating made me wanna hurl.

    Anyone have this happen to them and what can I do to get my appetite back?

      You just have to keep eating, it will come back eventually. You dont eat because you are hungry anyway. THis has been happening to me lately as well.

        Yes I have this happen to me at least once a day. Whatever you are eating you must mentally tell yourself that this is the only way to get where you want to be. Also this is a tip. I have never shared this with anyone but since the brothers and sisters here at SM.COM are so helpful I will help you out bro. Ok if you are not taking acidolphilus start taking one pill right after each meal. It will help you digest it faster. 2nd, but some type of seasoning on your meals to make your saliva go crazy and want food. Finally the big one that helps out. Ok 30min. before a big meal, drink 8-16oz of Apple juice. Reason why it will spike insulin and increase your appetite. Try it and let me know how it goes bro. Just when I need help help me out too.           i seriously don't understand how you can not have an appetite. i'm always hungry. even after a meal i'm hungry.

            ive heard girls are more often hungry then guys, and even after they eat....im never hungry after i eat....if i was, i would just eat all day

              The rock gave some good advice....I personally like to take a multi-plant enzyme suppliment after meals. Look for one that contains plant-based food enzymes. Look for a formula that includes the full spectrum of enzymes necessary to break down all types of food completely. The major ones are (protease, amylase, lipase, and cellulase) But the formula should include the enzymes for the next steps (peptidase, lactase, glucoamylase, and malt diastase).

                Thanks bro I will defiantely try that. I think it was just one of those days were I just really couldn't mentally get myself to eat. I felt it at the gym too as I had a crappy workout. I also have a schedule where I have breaks two hours apart so it might be too little time in between to digest food so the acidophilus should help out. Much thanks youse guys

                  just eat eventhough you do not feel like eating. what is the worst that could happen? you might end up throwing up but when that happens eat some more. think about what your goals are. most time we do not have that hunger feeling but in reality the muscle is starving. make sure you are eating every 3 hours no matter what. NUTRITION AND SUPPLEMENTATION IS 70% TRAINING IS 30%.

                  OH THEROCK i still disagree with the insuline spiking theory you put up.

                    why would sex have anything to do with whether you are hungry or not?

                    i know girls who are never hungry.

                    i am just always hungry.

                      I actually came close to hurling the other day from just looking at that damend chicken breast. I made sure I seasoned the hell out of the chicken today so everything should go good today I hope as I ate like shit the past 5 days.
