Honesty and negativity are 2 different things. The vibe going on for awhile was that BBAddict just can't do it "without the use of illicit drugs". Telling him it's impossible to make it down there when he has 11 weeks to lose 4.5% BF, is negative. He has plenty of time. As I said, I know from personal experience, so I don't know if you want pictures of these females or how else I can prove it. I have done my best to prove it through the amount of knowledge I have provided, but that still isn't good enough.

do you have proof that BBAddict cannot make it to 5% naturally?

Yes, its called human physiology and body comp. anyone with any common sense and a slight previous history on the matter knows....

I dont think people quite grasp how low and dangerous 5% bodyfat is and how difficult and unneccessary it is to obtain. Despite what you hear on TV, BO Jackson wasnt 2% bodyfat, Terrell Owens ISNT 1% bodyfat, these are all myths.

I agree with you that TO and Bo were not 1 and 2% BF. It's just not possible without nearing death. I don't believe that, and know what it takes to get down to 5%...and it's not as dangerous as you preach it to be.

          You want proof, fine.

BBAddict: in order to prove myself, what would you say for me to do the rest of yuor contest diet, for free?? We would weekly diet checks and evaluations. I know it's on the internet, but you can send me digital photos to gauge your progress weekly, and we can make necessary changes. Let me know. Then we can put all this to rest.

Sure, just let me know what you need in terms of measurements and pics and I will get them ASAP. I have some that I took before everything as a baseline-hopefully I got what you would need.

Just an update on the whole diet thing. I've switched up a few things occassionally to kickstart the fat loss, but pretty much stuck to the basic principles of the diet and the training. I will admit I am quite sick of chicken and have switched it up with turkey, salmon and elk to provide some variety in the protein sources. I've also cut back on carbs significantly in the last two weeks from the original plan and replaced some of those cals with fats.

I'm bitchy and my wife can't wait until I quit but it's definitely been a heck of a ride. Right now, I barely have the energy to make it through my workouts at normal intensity and I don't think I could do it without the thermogenic/coffee stimulants I take. Definitely don't have enough energy to be worth crap the rest of the day at work.

I only have one week to go but the last couple caliper measurements, which I'm having a hard time believing, suggest 3.5%. I know that's not correct cause I haven't taken any diuretics or anything that could help me get that low. Every measurement I've done in the past couple days suggests lower than 4%, so I think I'm gonna have to get a hydrostatic measurement done.

Well, I did this as a learning experience to learn how my body loses fat and what it takes to get ready for a show. I have to say 90% of it sucked but looking at all the new definition and watching the progression of my body has been fun. I'm very confident that I can get in competition shape given 10-12wks of strict dieting and training. Now, after, next this last week, I'm gonna put on 30lbs! That sounds like way more fun than all this weight loss!

Got the hydrostatic measurement done this evening. 4.4%!!

I think I'm gonna go have some pizza and ice cream! Actually, I'm going on vacation--I need to behave a little until then.

                      Great job, BBAddict!

A couple of q's: what was you starting/ending weight? how many weeks were you dieting for?

Started at about 180-lost about 5lbs in the first couple days, so I'm not exactly sure what that was all about-I'm pretty sure that was just water weight. Ended at 161 after 8weeks of dieting. Pretty consistent 1.5-2lbs/wk.

I think I'm gonna stop now for fear of losing muscle mass. Tape measure measurements of most body parts only changed by about half an inch to an inch except my waist which went from a little over 31" to 29". Strength on all my lifts maintained throughout so I don't believe I've lost significant muscle.
