i know this isnt very creative but personally i add oodles of pasta sauce (tomato) to everything... eggs, meat, lentils etc etc... very low carb and there are a million VERY positive health advantages to eating lots of pasta sauce. if you can get into it, its a very healthy habit.

my favorite for dipping meat/chicken or putting on eggs is ketchup. its kinda sugary and i feel very...truck stop... using it, so i try to keep that to a minimum (mainly for sugar reasons). Go to Trader Joe's and look at their choices. Some of my favorites are their grilled vegetable bruschetta, eggplant bruschetta, regular bruschetta, or pesto--there are tons of options though, lot of ethnic varieties. The pesto is high in fat (something like 16g for 4tbs i think), but you only need a little more than one tbs to spread over a piece of chicken... plus the fat is from olive oil. pesto is my favorite sauce by far--cook your chicken breasts (or fish or meat) and then spread a good spoonful all over the top... its amazing. oh, even better--do that and then put thin tomato slices on top and then sprinkle mozzarella on it and heat it up to melt the cheese... thats gourmet shit right there.

I use seasonings and spices/rubs. Just brush the meat with a little extra virgin olive oil then rub on spices. under the how to use they give more ideas such as combining spices with lime juice, orange juice, soy sauce and olive oil, then marinate meat for 1 hour or more and either grill or bake.
i like how simple it is and gives a lot of variety and taste without adding significant calories.

Best hot sauce that I have found is:Originally posted by SeveredtiesI use lots and lots of hot sauce
Siracha. It is in a clear bottle with a rooster on it. It is used in oriental restaurants. I found it having sushi.
Perfect blend of heat and taste.
