20% is pushing it. I know for myself, anything over 12-13% i slow down.

I think as long as the bulking phase isn't excessive (ala the old Lee Priest bulking!) you'd be OK.
yeah and look where that got priest....just won the iron man....so mcdonalds isnt really that bad once and a while :hmmm:

That doesn't mean that it's good for your body! I don't know about your logic.

just get your BF% tested or go by so calipers. you can get them for like 10 bucks. usually 12-13% is where your abs are visable slighly.

well said. lee does that because he likes to eat. i would bet any amount of money that if lee stayed leaner he would do even better.

usually one who brings up the Lee Priest argument is one who is fat and they say to themselves, "well lee does it, so will I". lol

i dont believe he said that. he is simply saying that its not good for your body which is correct.

Sure, but what I was saying in the original comment about lee was that putting on body fat to the extent that he used to is not healthy. Yes, mcD's is bad for you in excess--no, it's not going to kill you. Yes, it will help get some easy cals--no, its not the best cals. Yes, it will help you gain weight--no, it may not be lean weight. Yes, lee won the ironman--no, you won't ever despite how much or how little mcD's you eat.
