Man, everytime i've tried eating there in the past year (four times) I have gotten a killer case of the hershey squirts! I can't eat that fattening, artery clogging food anymore! Since I've been eating clean religiously for over a year every time I try to cheat on foods like McD's,subs or pizza's it kills my digestive system. Guess my body is letting me know what is happy/unhappy with.

I have personly eaten at Mcdonalds in the offseason many a time. As a matter of fact, I have eaten there with IFBB Pro Mike Morris many a time after the gym in the off season. I guess we arent serious either. lolOriginally posted by samsonovmc donalds is gross. all fat no real food. the only time that is good is when you're drunk. and i haven't drank in 1 1/2 years. definatly not for a serious bb even if you bulking.Last edited by Bouncer; 02-17-06, 06:56 PM.

You should read Lyle McDonalds Ultimate Diet 2.0 or something on CKD. It's the only diet theory I think may allow muscle gain while minimizing fat loss. It's certainly easier to go through bulking/cutting phases of a diet but I've often wondered what the long term consequences of that is, as I've seen studies that show that excessive weight fluctuations can be bad in terms of blockage of the arteries. I think as long as the bulking phase isn't excessive (ala the old Lee Priest bulking!) you'd be OK.Originally posted by zeddoes everyone agree putting on a decent amt of fat is the only way to pack on serious muscle too?

It's cool that so many people have posted. I think it's funny that some people will say they never; when I know they have. Serious body building does take balance. Over the last 15 months I have gone from one extreme (fat and no musculature) to another with Diet and exercise. No gear. I have gain six pounds of mostly muscle over the winter. I weight 252 height 6'6". I and still eating and training for mass. I might diet down a little soon. But really slow wieght loss cause I still have love handles.
P.S. I now cheat once or twice a week at an all you can eat Chinese Buffet lol.

no, i disagree with that. the body functions best around 10-12% bf levels. meaning, your body can process calories, release the hormones for growth, and so on at around 10-12%. when you start putting on to much fat the body becomes sluggish, everything slows down. getting fat in the offseason is a thing of the 80's and 90's.Originally posted by zeddoes everyone agree putting on a decent amt of fat is the only way to pack on serious muscle too?
