P.S. I have been to a point where bodybuilding was more important to me then everything in life. then my grandfather died, i had a puppy that died, i got very depressed for along time. those things made me realize how much i had missed in the years that bodybuilding was all i cared about.

it is still my life, i just take time now to stop and smell the roses so to speak.
Thanks that made me feel good. I was kind of joking, getting that big isn't my goal. I just want to be bigger than average, basically to where I stand out. But more designed like a model. I don't know if you remeber, but I posted a pic of guy who I really would like to look like. I think I need around 30 more pounds, but I'm not in any hurry. I would say I want to get there by the age of 30 and I still have a few+ years.

    Edit:

    This is the guy

But what toll is that taking on your body? Eating clean doesn't mean that you won't gain mass. Bouncer just mentioned that he eats clean and he's not lacking mass. Not very healthy IMO. I agree with Bouncer when he says that it's more important to be healthy.

i dont buy lettuce, no real nutritional value there. i buy spinach and brocolli in the big bags. i buy 2 bags of spinach at a time. i have to go back and get more every 2 weeks or so, any longer then that and it spoils.

Funny, I call all of the green stuff lettuce - spinach and romaine. What about romaine, any nutritional value there?

Since I am contest dieting with nothing but chicken, brocolli and eggs I live at Sam's. 7-8 bags of frozen chicken and 7-8 (4lb) bags of brocolli last me two weeks and cost less than$100 bucks (that includes 15 dozen eggs for $10 but they last about a month +/-). The only things that add up for me are the fat free salad dressings, tobasco sauce and ezekial bread...

I do eat clean mostly, cheating on my diet equals 2 meals a week where anything goes has saved my sanity. I will check net for nearest sam's or costco. I'm not screaming over the price of my food just wanted to know where everyone else is shopping and how much there spending. Thats all. Now where's that chicken or better yet where is your frig lol.

I dont eat as well as the rest of the people on here, but i do keep it as clean as i can figure a way to. I go to walmart every week, I really should shop at sams, but i just dont have the room to store the stuff in bulk. I spend about $60 a week on Beef, Chicken, Eggs, and tuna. I buy my sweet potatos, and Oats about every other week.

Also if i may throw my own question about the eating out there, what do those of you in college do?

I live about 30min away from my school, and other than tuna, oats, and shakes I just have a really hard time comeing up with clean foods that do not need a frig or stove. I do great before, and after classes, but my biggest prob is many times i go from 9am-7pm with no access to a frig or stove.
