I am just starting the Ultimate Diet 2.0 and im having a hard time swallowing the concept of not having a post workout shake of dextrose and whey on this diet... i have been so accustomed to having one post workout that i almost feel bad not having one... would having one anyway screw up this diet?

Don't mess with the diet - it is a very good diet as it is and if you mess with it you'll never know if it works...
Besides - I haven't had a pwo shake in almost 10 weeks - just whole foods. As a rule I only use a pwo shake in the off-season and mainly only when running slin (although I think for a normal diet focusing on putting on muscle etc they're exceptional)....
