  • Orange Roughy

I'm not a big fish eater, but I've heard so much about roughy that I had to try it. I took 2 filets put them in a foil pouch, added some mrs dash, lemon juice, fresh red and yellow peppers, zuchinni, squash and cherry tomatoes, threw it on the grill for 20 mins on low and I have to say this was the best fish I've ever had. It soaks up the flavors like a sponge. Now that I know how good it is and that there is absolutely zero 'fish' taste to it I'll be tweaking that recipe and finding a few more.

If anyone has some good recipes, post em.

Best part about it is that Costco sells it by the 5 lb bag. Pretty good deal.

          Sounds good...

My version isn't nearly as cool but here's what I like....

          12oz fish
          I Can't Believe It's Not Butter (spray)
          Mrs. Dash
          Red Potatoes
          Green Beans

Cover fish, potatoes and green beans with spray butter and then apply Mrs. Dash (tomato and basil is what I think I normally use???) and then cook over a low heat (with lid) - pretty good IMO!

Sounds quick and simple Fog. Do you use a grill pan or just a normal skillet?

Most everything I cook is quick, simple and clean unless I'm cooking for someone else...

Just a normal skillet (hell - I think I use the same skillet for EVERYTHING I cook :D)....
