  • Tuna instead of eggs in the morning??

So I just got back to school from break, and my schedule has completely change. I dont really have time in the mornings to choke down 7+ egg whites, and im getting to lazy to boil them. Is it cool to just have tuna along with my oatmeal in the morning? I know eggs are a better protein source but i didnt know if it would make that much of a difference.

I usually do tuna, brown rice, green tea and seaweed in the morning. Very tasty.

It's not a big deal. I prefer eggs at a later meal too. Except the omelette I just had with tomato, onion, and turkey - yum.

just reading the title made my stomach turn. No offense Grinder, got mad love for you and all, but I can't fathom eating tuna in the morning. I could eat any other type of protein, but not tuna.

but if you are gonna make the tuna, mix some lofat cream cheese/ lofat mayo and onions in it.. YUM! But not in the am for WW :P

Eggs r very anabolic and they r one of the best complete proteins to eat

Now f ur lazy to boil them, than u need to change that......a lazy BB (doesn't sound right)

What do u mean u don't have enough time???? Can u wake up 5-10min earlier to start boiling them???

I dont see a aproblem with it. Is this your second meal, as in do you have a shake first thing? Do you plan on eating eggs later in the day? I boil and shell a bunch of eggs at a time and eat them for a few days, could you do that? What carbs are you getting with your tuna?

That would probably be the suck, but I've done it with V-8 and Clamato and that is not bad at all. Especially with some raw garlic cloves and ginger juice in the mix.

Huh. Well I'll be damned. It doesn't suck at all, especially with the ginger and lemon flavored tuna I used. In fact it's pretty tasty and I'll be adding that recipe to my regular protein shake flavor rotation. I liked the tuna/veggie juice shake a lot, so I figured I probably wouldn't hate this one. Was even better than the tuna with Clamato.
