Don't have baking soda. Hope it works without it.

Didn't it give special instructions for if you don't have baking soda?

Tried it this morning with no baking soda. Couldnt blow the eggs out, but after I tried to blow for a few seconds, they were much easier to peel. Maybe the air going through loosened everything. Will try to get some baking soda tonight for tomorrow mornings eggs.

Yep, that was pretty much the key to it I believe.

I tried the same, I got 1 out of about 7 to actually come out like the video. If you only use water I think the trick is to have it as cold as you can get it, the baking soda will make it extremely easy, as it is a chemical reaction and not just a physical change.

But like Bouncer said, you should be able to peel it fairly quickly if cooked correctly.

If your shells are sticking a lot then they are overcooked.

I place eggs in water, bring to boil, let boil 3-4 min, cover and remove from heat, let sit in the water for 6-9 min.

I just tried this blowing the egg out thing. I didnt cook the eggs long enough and blew egg yolk all over my hand. Ill stick with the old fashion way.
