                            That's the whole point bro - you want your body to use energy digesting food - this is the mechanism that boosts your metabolism and facilitates lean muscle mass/fat loss - that alone is what makes whole food meals superior to shakes IMO...

                              Which is where I take the route that I *think* the GI of certain foods change based upon the consistency in which they're eaten/digested...

                              Just like you preach that sugars kill the goals of your diet (because you want consistent blood sugar levels) the same holds true for the GI indexes of what you eat....
