i dont like how low your fat intake is. add to that that your carb level is not very high either. you are going to waste muscle. i know what you are doing, you are in a rush to get rid of the bodyfat because you are sick of it. but in the rush you are going to waste a lot of muscle. get some more fat in there and take your time with cutting down.

carbs are 306 grams -- which i will keep -- i can increase fats though to offset the low carb - can bump 1/4 cup walnuts to 1/2 cup and add them in meal 7 - which pushes me to 120 grams fat with the walnuts alone

yes, you need more fat, you are far to big of a guy to have so little fat and so little carbs. that is a starvation diet for you bro. cut slowly. you are going to lose a ton of muscle if you do it fast like that.

this is all the carbs in your diet as you posted. the following does not = 306 grams of carbs. more like 200 grams.

        Meal 1: 1 cup oatmeal

Meal 3: 1/2 cup brown rice meal

        Meal 5:1 cup oatmeal

        Meal 6: 50 grams malto

make meal 3 1 cup of rice instead of 1/2 cup. add in like 2 TBSP of natural Peanut butter to meal 1. i also think you will benefit by changing one of those chicken meals to a different source of protein. maybe 5-6 whole omega 3 eggs, that would replace the chicken as the protein source and the nuts as the fat source.

yea, i like the omega 3 eggs from Wegmans. (not sure if you have Wegmans). much better for you then regular eggs. (Palumbo tells everyone to eat em.)

try them out my big gay brother. :)

B, dont you think the PB would slow down the absorbtion of the protein in meal one. My first meal is the same. Aslso when cutting wouldnt you want to seperate the fat and carb meals?

no and no. lol. meal 1 should be one of your highest calorie meals of the day. "the protein absorption" thing is a little overrated. the body will absorb it just fine. i use to separate fat and carb meals but palumbo has pounded into my head that it just doesn't work like that. healthy fats should be included in every meal besides pre and post workout.

if you want you could get up and have a quick scoop of protein before you prepare your first meal. it really wont make much of a difference though.

Why the extra 50 grams of glutamine? does your protein have glutamine in it? Just wondering if I need more.
Same with the BCAA shouldnt your protein have enough already?

this is why B -- i swear by it aswell my old nutritionist got me into the habit

Glutamine is highly in demand throughout the body. It is used in the gut and immune system extensively to maintain optimal performance.* 60% of free-form amino acids floating in skeletal muscles is L-glutamine. L-glutamine plays a very important role in protein metabolism, and it appears to be a very important nutrient for body builders.* When supplemented, it may help body builders reduce the amount of muscle deterioration that occurs because other tissues that need glutamine will not rob the glutamine stored in the muscle cells.*
