  • Canned Chicken or Chicken Breast?

Alrighty guys.....i was just curious if there is a major difference within consuming all natural canned chicken or a plain ole chicken breast? I recently bought a shit ton of canned chicken because it is more convenient for my school and work schedule. What do you guys think?

Lots and Lots of sodium in the canned stuff. Why not just cook a bunch, chop em all up, keep em in a big tupperware bowl, and serve as needed. The smaller tupperware bowls are like $2 for a set at walmart.

I'd limit the canned stuff to once a day

Actually from llooking at the nutritional label of canned chicken, the sodium level isn't too bad. 360 grams in a can. In essence, I'll take your guys advice and eat canned chicken in moderation. Thanks

I stick with the chicken breast. Put them in small tupperware containers and warm them on campus.

the stuff i bought was made from valley frest, 100% natural white chicken in water. Nutrition face are 360 sodium for a whole can and the ingredients are white chicken, water, sea salt, and gluten free. Thats it! it doesn't seem that bad

I keep this type of canned chicken on hand. I like it much better than tuna. But imo nothing beats fresh baked fresh chicken breast.

Can't agree with you any more about fresh baked chicken breast. Canned chicken taste better than tuna and is better for you, its mercury free. Any of you hear about Jermey Piven when he consumed too much tuna?

He ate sushi twice a day (other fish contains high levels of mercury as well) and took some "Chinese herbs" that contributed as well.

Yes, I read about that, but my chiropractor told me the other day to only consume around a can or 2 of tuna a month at the most....
