lol, but seriously. Milk is not needed, makes you bloated, you can get the same nutrients from other foods (cottage cheese, yogurt, etc...)

              really?

I would just jack up my protein intake to 300 grams. Works like a charm, I did for 3 months straight, went from 189 to 230 :)

so what do you do if you protein intake is already high enough? you add other forms of calories. milk is 1 easy way to do that.

you can eat protein all day long, as long as your not getting enough cals you wont grow.

Protein intake is high, but never too high. Too much can lead to fat storage.

getting 220-230g of protein isn't too bad. For bulking, i just eat more protein, same amounts of food, but more protein and i get about 300g a day. I also increase carb intake and more quantity every 3-3.5 hours.

I don't do milk, ESPECIALLY ICE CREAM. Ask DBJ, my stomach rumbles and sounds like a fuckin warzone. When it comes to skim milk, i can drink a glass or two and be totally fine.

                    your missing what I'm saying.

lets take me for example, over 300 grams of protein a day. dont need anymore cals in the form of protein. so 1 easy way for me to add calories to my diet is add a cup of 2% milk to each meal.

Yes i understand what you're saying. You just add milk to your diet to get in those extra calories.

False! Protein is protein to much of it will not turn in to fat. If you take to much protein and you don't use it you'll simply piss it out.

Bro, you know I love you, but i respectively disagree.

The difference between a protein and a carbohydrate is that Nitrogen group. If your body is sensing low levels of carbohydrates, it will kick out that Nitrogen group and you will have a carbohydrate. That carbohydrate will be used for energy and/or fat storage.

Lastly, too much protein intake results in excess calorie consumption. Too much calorie consumption leads to fat storage.

Three references back this up, my bio course. Nutrition course thought by my professor who has a Masters in nutrition. Also, upper level biochem courses back this up.

well you can tell your professors that i said they don't know shit about nutrition.
Let me give you a simple example, 1 gram of protein has only 4 calories, 1 gram of carb has 4 calories and 1 gram of fat has nine calories. So even if you take in 400 grams of carb a day it equals out to only 1600 calories and that my friend will not make you fat.
Now before you come back and ask me well how about carbs and fat? Let's asume you are on a high protein low carb and modarate fat diet like 300grams of protein 200 grams carbs and 50 grams of clean fat, total is 2450 clean calories and If you add your workouts and cardio that my friend will shred you to pieces. How do I know because I've done it for sixteen fucking years that's how, so I stand by my original statement and repeat again protein will not make you fat. To much carbs will and to much fat but not protein.

Whew that brought out the old bodybuilder in me. :D
