For what result... Are you talkin about brown rice or white rice and are you talking about bulking or cutting... When I'm bulking I eat about one cup of uncooked white rice with my meals...

depends if you cutting or bulking. depends on your weight etc.

a 250lb guy would have to eat much more then a 150lb guy..

Uhu. I'm a 95kg kind of guy, trying to cut a little fat at the moment. My pre-workout meal contains a 50/50 mix of rice 'n beans of 125g in total. Is this sort of normal?

I suppose that with the brocolli it doesn't depend on anything?

Broccoli is a green vegetable, and you can pretty much eat as much as you want of green veggies. Are you hoping to bulk by eating a lot of broccoli?

1 cup is usually liquid mesauring. I dont know why we use it for rice. 1/2 cup dry rice = 43g dry rice. B wants u to eat 1 cup cooked rice, and 1/2 cup of dry rice makes 2/3 cup of rice.

Its like the old math equations you learned in school. You do the math.

                    1 cup cooked = 3/4 cup dry = (3/4)*86g = 64.5g

Damn. I have always been eating 125g of dry, which equals 93.75g of cooked.

Dry should not be less than cooked rice. Cooked rice should always weight more.

If I'm on a cutting diet I'd eat a cup of rice with my first three meals and switch it to healthy fats for the last three meals.
