  • Minimum amount of carbs?

    I am curious about what everyone's answer will be for this question. What do you feel the minimum amount of carbs you MUST take in so that your mental capacity is not affected at all?

    I have been playing around with mine, and when I drop below 100 with my activity level, my mind goes by late afternoon.

    depends on the carbs you take in, the right carbs I can get by on 100 grams n/p - buncha sugar and shit and I'm crashing and bitchy. Damn carbs sound so good right now.. lol. Do you get pissy if you go below your min ? I become wicked cranky.

            255ish i would guesstimate about 10% bodyfat (clear abs but not shredded) been off steroids for almost 7 months.

            next cycle coming up in june, plan to be around 270 at the same bodyfat i am now by this Sept.

                Man that is kick ass brother, I know you are training for the size - but do you do many sports or what not ? How do you handle the size agility wise ? You are about 10-15 lbs of muscle more than I would think I'd feel comfy at that bodyfat trying to do what I want, but I'm also 6'1 so not sure, gonna have to play it as it goes.

                  I'll carb cycle for max 3 weeks - then it's on with my normal clean diet to bulk or to cut, I agree with you in general, but I respond very well as long as I don't stay keto for more than 2-3 weeks and make sure my carb up days are perfectly on point .. not fucking ice cream and white flower. Then it has it's place for me personally.

                    nah i dont play any sports etc..

                    i dont really feel heavy though. i dont walk around huffing and puffing etc..

                    i am 5'10 and a half almost 5'11 :rofl:

                      I find myself extremely sensitive to carbs. They bloat me immensely, even when clean. So I keep them low. I had cut them down to 50-60 for the past two weeks, but found myself unable to do much , especially study, after 4pm. I've upped it to about 100 and I seem to be okay. My protein is around 350-400 and my fats around 70-80.

                      I was thining about swithcing it around and going low fat (only first thing in the morning and before bed to slow down the protein digestion) and upping my carbs.

                      BTW, I am 5-9 195 around 10%.

                          yea everyone is different. i cut carbs and i get flat and weak.

                          my body likes protein and carbs with very little fat.

                            My weight has been stagnant for the past two weeks. I want to drop down to about 190 and see how I feel. So I'll switch up how I eat tomorrow. Add some serious carbs and drop fat.

                            Currently I am at about 100 carbs, 350-400 protein, and 70-80 fat.

                            So I'll up my carbs to 200, keep my protein around 350-400, and how low should I drop my fats to?

                              i would drop fats down to around 30 or so.
