      you would be better off switching meal 1 and 2.

      hamburg takes a long time to break down. the protein shake would give you protein immediately in the morning when your body needs it.

              Correct. As opposed to sugar in a soda or candy that is sucrose.

              I guess the main difference is that sucrose (refined sugar)is broken down quickly and causes a big insulin spike where fructose (fruit sugar) is broken down slowly which allows the pancreas to adjust insulin output more efficiently.

                it may be slower then sucrose but 60 grams of fructose is still a sugar blast.
