  • good diet plan

can anyone post a good link to a website that has suggested diet plans? i want to cut down on my BF% and i really do not know what to eat. like a whole plan that gives me times when to eat and what to eat

Eat whole foods, brown rice, vegetables, fruits (in moderation) and meat. Keep bread and pasta on the low side. Cut out sugar completely, including soft drinks.

What is your current BF%, how old are you, are you male/female and how is your height and weight? Unless you are trying to get below 10% BF, frankly timing your meals and all that stuff is not that important. You need to know how many calories to consume - if you want to lose bodyfat, figure out how many calories your body needs (your daily maintenance calorie amount) and then undershoot it by 500 Kcal or so. Keep your C/P/F to 40/40/20 or 30/50/20. Target 1.5g/lb of bodyfat when you are going under maintenance to ensure that you don't lose muscle. Add cardio (low to moderate intensity) 3 or 5 times a week for say 45 minutes at a time.

Read through the threads in the Nutrition forum.

Let me clarify this statement. In my opinion, the only things that matter are pre- and post-workout nutrition. Make sure you have enough carbs pre workout to ensure that you have enough energy for your workout. Post workout, have a protein shake (lots of folks here add some grape juice here) and then a regular meal afterwords.

My diet plan is as follows:

Glass of milk in breakfast with 2 eggs
Club Sandwich in lunch with Milk banana shake
        Tea at 4:00 pm
I do dinner at 9:00 pm and prefer meat, chicken and salad in dinner
I drink protein shake at 11:00 pm just before going to bed

            you for real brah?

milk banana shake? tea? come on dude.

here is a quick example of what those "muscle guys" or "models" eat. if you want to look like anything you need to change how you eat drastically. i will lay out a simple diet and one that should be easy for you to adjust too.

Meal 1: Protein Shake and oatmeal with honey

Meal 2: Chicken Breast or 2 and rice

Meal 3: Salad with some sort of protein

Meal 4: Post Workout Protein Shake with some juice

Meal 5: Fish or Steak with rice and a veggie
