What does the glycemic index have to do with anything for someone who eats every few hours and doesn't have to lose any bodyfat?

Usually come to about $225 or so every 2-3 weeks. Not bad. Buy all that from a grocery store and it's easily over $300.
Im buying the RAW brand oats with flax over the Quaker oats now. Also get a big tub of cashews now. Bought some avocados but I am not a huge fan, still need to figure a way to eat them with my food so i dont gag. lol.
basically removed the sugar for the most part, still have lots of carbs from oats and rice, and added in some fats.
