  • Grits instead of oats.

    Ok so I fucking hate plain oats I can eat everything else except for oats. But been reading and I seen that ronnie coleman eats grits instead of oats. Was thinking about switching em out any thoughts and opinions?

      Basically but I can tolerate the grits for the most part. Any suggestions bouncer for substitutions?

        no, ive found nothing that makes me look as good as consistant chicken and oats. my body just does not look the same on rice or any other carb source.

        have you tried the better oats brand? i cant really eat whole oatmeal either. a packet of better oats mixed with a little fruit is a different story.

            Better Oats - Try New Better Oats Oatmeal

            When all you eat is proteing and carbs with very minimal fat, sugar is not the enemy. At least in moderation it's not. Actually keeps you looking full.

                I ate them and they're good. A MUST though is adding fiber. Trust me its like shitting a brick without eating fiber with it.

                      I'm eating about 4 cups of Quaker oats a day. Is it just a flavor thing with the Better oats, or is there a nutritional advantage. I blend my oats raw with vanilla whey and some cinnamon, and drink. Quick and easy.

                        its a flavor and texture thing for me. the regualr quaker oats turn into paste.

                        i used to blend shakes and all that but real meals like chicken and a bowl of oats just yield better results IMO.

                          Occasionally I'll have something like rice and steak but yes 99.9% of the time its 2 chicken breasts and a packet of better oats with some crasens every 4 hours.

                          Cheat day once per week on Sat. Usually just 2 huge meals like brunch and dinner.

                              As far as oats go... The generic brand is slightly better in nutrition than Quaker. Kroger here, Fred Meyer on the west side I believe. Just 2 cents.
