  • Wholemeal cous cous

Do you guys rate this stuff? Seems like a good alternative to brown rice. Takes 5 mins to cook. Just pour it in a bowl an add boiling water. Tastes pretty good.

I've made it a few times. Once it was pretty good, and once I didn't really like it at all, lol. It's definitely a lot more "mushy" than rice. The grain is tiny, so maybe it's easily overcooked.

Yea its good shit. Mix in a little chopped onion and hot sauce and you got a winner! Kind of like a healthy fried rice flavor.

Haven't tried it brotha. I tend to stick to Quinoa due to gluten considerations. You have a preference of one over the other?

I love both cous cous and Quinoa. Both great healthy alternatives to rice with better protein ratios.

You'll see some of my recipes ive done using both of these.

I buy it from costco in 1.5kgs tubs. 1 scoop per meal. It tastes awesome and is just spices and cous cous. Makes eating plain chicken and veg easy.
