You have to be uncomfortable

It's just a mental reality I have re familiarised myself with lately.
I'm not saying we should seek out to create problems for ourselves. I'm just saying that a degree of mental fortitude and tolerance, appetite perhaps, is required for discomfort when you are in pursuit of positive change.
It's not martyrdom it's acceptance and a case of being quietly happy.
It's very relevant to me because after having a shit childhood and now finding myself financially secure in a good relationship, as I've created an easier and easier life for myself I have become greedy, lazy, feckless.
its not been making me happy, I'm not saying I need to be sado masochistic to cover a problem, but I do need a focus to make me feel I'm progressing.
I need to learn to be comfortable with being a little uncomfortable
