  • refeed or cheat meal?

    Just curious as to everyone's opinion regarding refeed meals or cheat meals. When deiting to get to low double digit or single digit BF numbers do you still do a refeed or cheat meal?? If so, once a week, once every other week?

    It obvious that it boils down to Cals in vs Cals out but do cheats have a place in assisting with getting leaner or is this just a mental thing??

    What's a cheat meal? Or should I say, what would you consider a cheat meal?

    My cheat meals consist of eating choc chip cookies or some sort of choc cakes, cupcakes, etc...but to answer the question, I'd say twice a week is good. If that's th case, then I have a cheat meal ED:Dand maintain single digit bf%

      A cheat for me is usually a med pizza and a couple peanut butter and jam sandwiches if I can cram it in inside of 2hrs. I give myself a 2 hour window lol

        I'm giving myself one cheat meal a week right now. And my cheat meals are similar to yours. I shove in th calories! :)

          I over did my Sunday cheat meal....indulged way too much....put on 4lbs and look like shit....i set myself back at least one week for sure.

            Yea its a fine line between enjoying a cheat meal and going way overboard. I've done it plenty of times only to feel like a depressed pile of shit after.

              One cheat meal will not set you back, you're not going to get fat from eating one meal out of however many a week you eat, if you do it daily or multiple times a week, then that may be a different story. You probably ate a shit ton of sodium, flour products and sugar and it is retaining water...it will settle within days, esp if you drink enough water to flush your system.
