I think those are the male flowers. The female flowers Are found on the runners which are the long shoots that start crawling along the ground. They are the ones that form fruit

so it should just start forming fruit at some point or do i need to do something more aside from watering every morning?

Been getting lots of Okra, green beans, and this is the first of the corn.

That's good stuff! Corn looks great. Nothing beats fresh okra. So much better than the frozen shit in the store.

love the smell of fresh corn. that smell when you first peel the skin off. immediately gives me a sense of summer/calm/childhood.
