Hey , I wanted to know what you all thought of this. Ok, i was talking with this guy and I asked him his workout. If does Monday, Thursday- Chest, back,shoulers....Thuesday and Friday-Legs,Arms. I myself usally do either a 3 day split or 4 hitting the muscles once a week. He also said "Over the last few years there has been tons of research that shows that the effects of a workout is totally gone after 48 hours (ie: the muscle leaves its anabolic state and the chemical and physical effects of the workout are gone). Working a muscle group after that 48 hours is optimal, as it keeps your body in an anabolic state more often (which encourages muscle growth). " Ok, now I'll post his workout.
Chest-back-shoulders
incline db: 100x8, 100x8, 100x6
dips * upwards cable crossovers: bw+50 x10 * 50x8, bw+75 * 50x7, bw+85 * 60x6
seated db press: 75x8, 85x6, 75x7
side laterals: 45x8-35x8-25x8, 2nd and 3rd set the same
front pulldowns: 170x8,x7,x6
bb rows: 185x6, "", ""
close grip pullups: bw+25 x10, bw+50x8, bw+60x7
bb shrugs: 225x8, 275x8, 315x8, 315x10

On a week that I do arms both days, my workout goes like this:

leg press
stiff legged deadlifts (the one with the knees nearly locked)
seated calf raises
glute-ham raises
hack squat press machine
french curls * standing barbell curls
reverse single arm pulldowns

leg extensions
leg curls
seated calf raises
walking lunges
preacher curls * hammer curls
close grip bench
