  • Accidents in the gym...

I thought this could turn into an interesting thread

today as i was finishing my set of lat raises and i brought the DB's down by my waist to clap together, YOU KNOW WHAT got caught right in the middle...it was probably the most painful stinging feeling i've ever had at any time, and nothing would stop the pain...I was lifting at home today so i was literally running around the house for like 5 minutes hopin it would get hurting

needless to say the next set i was much more careful

another time back in high school i remember benching, and i actually had a spotter and between the two of us we both just completely missed the rack and the BB ended up falling just behind my head

oh my that has to hurt...I saw a guy drop 400 on his chest after his shoulder popped out of socket. And even with three spotters it was tough getting it off him.

Saw some college baseball dude tryin to be a badass & do lunges with a barbell & just fell forward with it & it trapped him down, but he was alright. And theres always this dumbass that loads his bar unevenly and tries to lift it & all the weights slide off & crash to the ground.........I think my dumbass is even guilty of doin that a few times :D lol

yeah, i've done that a few times....i usually only load it like 5 or 10lbs off and i feel the difference right when i lift it up.....that little bit of weight i can handle enough to keep from falling off

i like to do standing tricep extrensions with a dumbell, so i noticed this little dude watching me and then went and picked up the 120 i was using. well he fell over backwards when he tried to throw it over his head, and took out a bench that was laying behind him. he was lucky it did crush his skull.

something similar happend to a friend of mine while doing military presses. His shoulder just popped out of place and dropped the weights back. Shits scary man to look at.

Nothings ever happend to me, thank god but almost did a while back. Was doing leg presses with almost 1000 pounds on it. I was moving my feet around where i felt comfortable with iy. While doing it, my feet were too much on the edge, almost slipped. Damn i was scared, didnt use it for a week or two.
