Maybe this isn't the right forum for this question but have any of you experienced this kind of pain NOT while training but upon awakening from a night's sleep? I have begun sleeping with a pillow between my knees (if on my side) or under my knees (if on back) and it seems to help alleviate the pain a lot. It doesn't matter if is after or preceding a leg workout either because I took 3 weeks off from legs to see if it was a related injury but it didn't seem to make a difference. It doesn't happen all of the time but I noticed that lately, it happens more frequently than before. Is this some early-mid stage of arthritis setting in? I'm only in my mid-30's-ish. LOL.
I'm trying to figure this whole deal out. Last night I slept on my right side (no pillow between knees) and this morning my right knee was actually sore to the touch. It wasn't swollen though. Hips were a bit stiff too. I took some naproxen and it subsided as the morning passed.
