  • Why am I so tired all the time?

Now, granted work has been crazy and the sitter is swine flu...

But, it seems like the last 2 or 3 weeks I have just been draggin ass. It's really hard for me to get out of bed in the morning, and I just feel really run down. I haven't had a lot of time to go to the gym...only a couple times last week, and not at all this week yet, but I still have been running.

Which leads me to my next question- I'm only 32, but the way my body feels in some places, I feel 52. My right knee has been extremely stiff- like I did something to it. Like when I kneel down to pick up Kenley, I almost can't sit all the way back on it because it's stiff & it hurts...I laid off hard running for a couple days, and it seemed to improve a little

When's the last time you took a break from the gym AND running? Maybe you just need a little down time to catch up. Having a baby, working, working out, doing all the household stuff, etc is 24/7 - it's easy to get run down.

on top of what FB said.

are you eating any dairy products? getting in enough calcium? fish oils? even protein bars because they have collagen in them. Very good for joints, tendons, bones etc..

Wouldn't hurt to get your blood checked out for iron and sugar.

            STRESS!!!

Stress takes a huge toll on our bodies. It will take you out instantly. You just need to find time to relax

Sounds like you may a bit of inflammation in the knee from over use, try walking at a brisk pace instead of running. Stress can make a person feel tired and a bit out of it, and often we don't even realize that we are stressed out.

No...my diet hasn't been the greatest. I'm not eating badly, I just don't really feel like eating a lot. I eat about 4 meals a day.

So, no to the calcium or fish oils.

FB- maybe you're right. I guess I'm so obsessed with getting my body back to what it was, I'm not really listening to it. I haven't taken any time off since about 3 weeks after Kenley was born...so, she'll be 7 months on Monday, so that's about 6 1/2 months. Does running really take that much additional energy? For the past 2 months or so I've been doing weights 3-4 times a week, and then coming home & running. But then I would run additional 2-3 days as well

Addition to all of the above if your joints are hurting that bad don't be afraid to take an aleve for a few days to reduce to pain and inflamation in your joints. I know more than a few doctors who recomends that if you don't have any major injuries. They call it the aleve theraphy. :)
