Last year I started taking taking a week off from traing every 2 months after lifting heavy and hard and noticed that everytime I come back Im fuller, stronger, and just have an all around better feeling. Do any of you guys take time off after a set time training? On the week off I still eat good, but try and get as much sleep at night as I can plus a nap every day even if its just for 30min to an hour nap.

I was gonna start a thread kinda like this but since its here I will just comment.
I have had close to 9 months off of real weight training (body building) and I am back probably a month now? anyways at first I was saying fuck this shit is heavy and it sucks, lol well now I am close to all the weight I used to lift when on gear and I am clean.
Yesterday I did quads and I squated 405 for 12reps kinda easy not realy but kinda. My max is 455 for 8 reps I have a feeling in another month I will do that no problem.
So yes I am a beliver in time off now. Maybe not 9 months but a good break for sure.
side note I was still working out thoes 9 months but more muscle conditioning and cardio.

:agreed: I was 245 prolly 15-20%BF before I got injured and couldn't lift now after 5 months I am doing my same weight, am back to 240 lbs and and am way leaner than when I started. That was when I became a believer of time off.Originally posted by ROCKETW19 View PostI was gonna start a thread kinda like this but since its here I will just comment.
