I just need to continue my focus on my training - the strength will come.
A friends brother was around your height prolly weighed 165lbs real lean; he would bench 375. He had similar goals to what you are going for. He was a soccer player; so he needed to stay light and agile but wanted to have big strength.

Cool bro.... that's a great goal! Do you have ranger school written into your contract? I've heard of recruiters doing the bait and switch, so be careful here. You might want to PM beefcake. Haven't seen him around lately and he hasn't answered some of my PMs, but I think he is in the Rangers.

You watch that documentary on the history channel; shows how you not only have to be in peak physical condition but also be mentally sharp as well.

$1000 says you would have a strength gain like you never experienced if you added in animal proteins.

I am sure you are right B, but I have lived my life so far with a set of principles and I am not about to change. If that means I am weaker physically in absolute terms, I can live with that.

yeah - infantry, airborne, rangers - if you are up to par at that point. And yes I work with my recruiter weekly making sure that I don't get scalped, he's a good dude, hell he took me on when I was in the shit storm of my peek using and has stuck with me. I did real well on my tests, everything is basically set I just need to sign and then they can send me to who knows where, I have my request in but who knows right ?

I've always been vegetarian, bro. I was born in the Hindu religion and one of the tenets of the religion is ahimsa, which is Sanskrit for "do no harm." Basically, I don't want to kill another living thing in order that I live. I am not religious by any means - don't really believe in God in the traditional sense, but ahimsa is a philosophy that I like and have lived by it all my life.
