  • What's your goals this year?

Time has rolled one more year past since I walked into the gym; It's time for me to plan want I want to accomplish in the gym for the next year.

    Here's my specific goals :

Just about to push over the 250 mark. Would like to see 265 by next April staying at the current BF (prolly 12% given I can see my abs)

I need to get more of a roundness in my shoulders and need the upper middle section of my chest to be fuller.

I have long legs but I would like them to get a bit thicker; calf's are responding well to exercises lately so I am satisfied.

If all others muscles keep developing at their current rate I will be pleased.:weights:

So lets hear it, get out of general chat and put down some goals.

Did you ever try just 3 exercises/ 3 sets/ 15 reps. That is what I always have done and it seems to work great.

230 agile, bf is give or take, body comp is all I go by. Need to be able to move but have to rely on strength and being bigger, I'm not good enough all around.

Now this is where I ask do you just do leg exercises for your agility/ speed. I mean you want your fast twitch muscle fibers to grow and develop like having the legs of emmit smith. Is power a secondary concern in that area for you.

I'm working w/an agility coach now - if my knee holds up well , then I will start to squat till i puke again, but yeah, fast cuts are most important and having a rock solid core, i dont give a fuck about "abs" blah blah, if I wanted to diet to that I would, but I need that core s trength to take hits and just like a good baseball swing, core strength is where you generate the power.
