you want to do the opposite. you get bigger from rest and recovery.

            :agreed:

Your body needs rest and lots of nutrition so you can grow and fully recover

So if wanting to bulk up should I be doing each bodypart 1x week or twice?

I used to think I needed to train body parts twice a week to put on size. What jack tors said is true, took me awhile to figure that out...

hit it once a week and hard. Your intensity should be to the point where within 30min of lifting you should be dead. The last 15-20min of a workout should be a struggle to survive.

Each working set should aim for at least 5 reps. You should fail on the 6th rep, if not keeping going until failure and than the next set you should up your weight.

Out of the gym you should be eating properly. Your body grows with food. Give it high protein. On top of that you should be sleeping minimum 8 hours a night. For every 2 hours of undisturbed sleep, your body is releasing hormones to recover your muscles and building them.

How about you post your diet. Then we can help you with bulking. I never understood why people think lifting heavy with low reps will get them bigger.
