What rep range weight (light, heavy, medium) and form do you use and prefer for growth

  • #2
For growth he had me doin:

    21's--4 sets 10-12reps
alternating db curl, very strict, supinate, light--4 sets 10-12 reps
preacher curl single arm each then both together 4 sets 10-12reps

see any merit in very heavy alternate dumbell curls? I did 90lb ers today for like 5-6 on my heavy set, not perfect form.

Thats good. In levrones dvd he curls that kind of db weight. Then again your arms are bigger than levrones any day.

Yeah I'm not saying perfect but not saying awful either, with 70s I've day I had pretty good form.

Growth, my arms are no where near what leverone s were, I could only dream. Where's big scoty when you need him?

How are you doing 10-12 reps when you're running 21's?

That's a nice weight, and I feel as long as you're not opening the door to injury, a little body english isn't all bad.

I find I grow best with variety... I mix it up heavy and light.
For size gains though I like 8-10 reps.

THIS! After experimenting, this works. I switch every other week. Same goes for triceps.
