    I would say that very few people on this board could do more than 10 pullups, regardless of form. Most bodybuilders cannot do many pullups.

    Bouncer, how many can you do?

      Agreed.. not trying to play the numbers game in this thread. My only question is that we all know that conventional wisdom is that 8-12 reps = hypertrophy and 3-5 reps are more conducive to strength improvement. I was therefore a bit surprised to read somewhere that low (3-4) reps of weighted pullups are good for hypertrophy, and was wondering if anyone can vouch for it.

        I don't think a 3/4 rep range is conducive to hypertrophy on a persistent basis
