Over the past few months I've taken shoulder presses completely out of my routine and I've seen no change as far as losing size. Question is, do you guys think shoulder presses are redundant?
If you think about it, the front delt is probably one of the most overworked muscles since it is activated in a lot of movements, especially benching. I personally combine shoulders and triceps with my bench day. I do throw in some lateral raises or wide grip upright rows, but it just seems like overkill to do presses after benching has already toasted them.
Thoughts? Jokes? Flames?
