      I am not being a smart ass (promise!), but do you speak the same way you type? You type words that nobody else uses (nobody here), so I'm just curious if it's a Brit thing :)

          Definitely worth it for squats and other leg stuff. So solid balanced. No forward lean and all through the heels

              Do any calf raises with them yet? Every pair of shoes i have, my heel just slides back and forth when im doing those...unless i tie em so tight my circulation almost gets cut off.lol

                Matt, the concept of adipower and other olympic lift shoes is twofold;

                1) they provide absolute rigidity and stability, trainers are generally made to soften shock and help you run I.e. Designed for impact movement. This is the opposite of what you want when performing olympic lifts or squatting (olympic lifts generally include a squat as part of the movement). The rigidity and sfability they provide ensures you dont lose energy/strength sidewayz trying to balance and ensures all the leg drive power goes straight down into the floor.
                2) they have an inbuilt raised heel, what this does is simulate where people put 5lb plates under yheir heel when squatting but agajn does it in an inbuilt rigid way, safer. The effect is that again all the power is driven through the heel, as it should be, and, you are more eadiky able to squat very deep and keep your upperbody upright and means less of tbeu strain is taken up by the lower back as most people have to lean forward in order to hit depth. With these you dont and tbe result is that all the force goes through the legs and ass, exactly where you want it.

                  I will check them out. I have a client with major focus on
                  squats right now. Every advantage helps.

                      $200 for shoes I will use 1x a week for 15 min while I do squats - or am I missing something?

                          He didn't have the best legs, in fact they were his weak point structurally.

                          Platz used squat shoes regularly

                              Bro, I don't work for adidas, and there are cheaper brands; including nike and other adidas versions.

                              All im saying is that I had the best squat session in a long time and they cn save your back alot of grief. $200/spine, for me they worth it
