Ive been having some problems lately with my left shoulder. I did some damage to it in a bike accident but the physio and doc's at the time said there would be no issue and it would recover completely.
Its hard to put it into words but I'll try my best. Its mostly on chest and shoulder exercises I will be fine with lower weight but as soon as I go heavy for a set of 6 or 8 its like the joint seizes up and doesn't move correctly after 2 or 3. Its not just fatigue or it being weaker I physically cant make the correct movement with that arm.
For example dumbbell press for chest the right side is perfect and I'm trying to move the left in the same manner but it feels like the shoulder joint gives out and from the joint the arm moves to the side instead of straight up. It will take a few minutes rest and a lighter weight to get it moving right again.
I might need to video it because its really hard to explain.
But if it does make sense does anyone know whats going on and how to fix it? Its been happening the last 2 weeks and slowly driving me mad.
