Unfortunately yes. He was interviewed recently by Marc Lobliner and he said the only thing he regrets was not training even harder. He was upset because he thinks he could have squatted 800 for 3 reps and he wanted to be undeniably the longest running, best Mr O ever.

I think he has to make it worth it in his head. Otherwise it would be too much to deal with. Mr.I is currently struggling with this as well. Doesn't even lift any longer and tries to convince everyone that he is on his way back! Shame.

Yeah, I think that is true. I realize he SAYS it was all worth it, and his only regret is not lifting harder, but....really? I mean at least he got some money out of it, but he still has had (and still has) many years of suffering the consequences.
