  • Ever had one of those days?

    Just had mine, fuck!

    Couldn't finish my 4 mile run, I was hurting. Couldn't even do our routine, or more so never finished it.

    Got up at 6am
    ..went to train and did half ass everything. Then I was like, well I'll just run and push my last mile to sub 7mn pace....yep, not having it.

    Need to take a few days off. I've been training ED for the past 2 weeks straight, no days off. Even when I don't lift, we still run 4 to 5 miles.

    My entire body is sore and just finally felt it this morning.

    Being lean is addictive, no lie. It just sucks you in.


    Well at least I have hiking to look forward to today.

      This sentence sums it up:

      I've been training ED for the past 2 weeks straight, no days off.

      Overtraining. Take a few days off. Don't have to veg out, just walk or hike or do something relaxing, both mentally and physically.

        Well even when I don't lift, I like to run
        It's moderate impact at 8mns a mile when I'm off. So for me, I don't see it as much but my body definitely spoke this morning. And what are we about to do now? Leaving for the hike and will post pics.

        I'm just not a type of person who can sit on his ass all day, except when I play ps4:P I have/need to be active.

        Scrum, do you meditate? Srs question.

            No, at least not recently. I'm the type of person that is calm no matter what the situation. For me, relaxation is reading a book or out in the woods. I could do that all day.

              Over training Rado. Take a day off and relax. Get a deep tissue massage to work out all the knots. Also, throw in a cheat meal to get extra calories in.

                funny because relaxation for me(other than smoking a bit), is cardio and/or being in the sauna.

                      Haha.. yeah, I'm the iceman. There's almost nothing that gets me wound up. My wife's sometimes freaking out about something and I'm just as calm as can be. Just different personalities, I guess.
